From the time Maria Maio could walk, she was fascinated with her mother’s makeup drawer and could oftentimes be found applying makeup to herself and her dolls! At the age of six she was smuggling makeup to school in her pockets and applying it in the bathroom. That lasted about a month, but her love for color has spanned throughout her life.

After moving to New York City, she quickly found her niche in the world of film and television and is recognized as one of the top beauty experts in the industry. Most recently Maria has contributed beauty content for WSJ Live, The Wall Street Journal's video arm. Working with the biggest names from the worlds of music, television, film, news and politics, Maria has a long list of celebrity clientele including Kelly Ripa, Mariah Carey, Helena Christiansen, Eva Herzigova and Senator Hillary Clinton.

Maria's Television credits include ABC's The View, All My Children and HBO's Boardwalk Empire to name a few and a host of news programming that includes local, national and international outlets.
